@Jeanette R: That is a good idea, especially the buttons they cost a fortune these days. I just did a couple of cardigans for my cousins grandson, the baby wool cost less than the little train buttons and elephants she wanted. Yes it does keep us out of trouble and eating too many biscuits lol

I always like to keep a small ready to go stash Mary. I do seem to get quite a few requests from friends and work colleagues. I just ask them to cover the cost of yarn and buttons. It keeps me out of mischief 🤷‍♀️
