Christmas Scarves
I loved this Bothy Threads Wrendale Design cross stitch when I saw it and had to have it finished for Xmas. It was really enjoyable to do and I’m pleased with how it turned out. I purchased the blue Aida material separately and I think the snowy effect has worked well.

Oh so cute. I love it. That little robin with his little red breast. They are both adorable. Hope you are keeping will Christine. The site seems to be very sluggish it has been hard work finding anything.

This is gorgeous Dianne, I love the blue background, good idea. I'm really struggling to see anything that anyone's making lately even by going in thru the community page, so I decided to go through the comments of one of Sue's makes and click on everyone that way to try and catch up. I can't believe how quickly you do these, you have fingers of fire. 😁 hope you had a great Christmas & New year. X

@Catherine McG: I’ll look forward to seeing them Catherine. 👍

@Dianne S: I'm jumping between a wedding cross stitch for a friend and a crochet horse that I put on hold for Christmas stuff. If only I was as quick as you, I'd be finished by now 🤣

@Catherine McG: Are you working on any projects just now Catherine? Perfect weather here for it!

@Dianne S: I feel the same. Yes, you need to stay in and not risk slipping. It's been miserable here today. It literally hasn't stopped raining all day, it's been so dark and cold, I was glad I was working from home and didn't need to go out. 🌧

Thanks Catherine, I’m the same, not seeing many peoples makes, it’s so frustrating, feel we’re all losing touch which is a shame! This design was actually a lot quicker to do than some and I was determined to finish it by Xmas! The icy weather helped as I was scared of falling on the ice so just stayed in! Hope you had a nice festive time too, it’s a bit bleak though now that it’s all over!

Fabulous Dianne. The sky is so realistic and the duck and the Robin are delightful. Your cross stitch is beautiful. 🤩

This is absolutely gorgeous Dianne, the snowy background is perfect, much better than the original, what an inspired decision! I’m working on Rockin’ Robins but only have 3 1/2 of the 5 done so they won’t be ready for this Christmas, ah well, there’s always next year. Have a great Christmas.🎄🎅🏻💕

Thanks Liz, I think the blue fabric makes it more Christmassy. I got it on a website called Fabric Flair, they have lots to choose from, there was a white sparkly one which would also be nice for Xmas. Can’t wait to see your Rockin’ Robins! Have a lovely Xmas! 🎄
