I attended an indigo-dyeing workshop at my local craft centre with the intention of trying it with my grandsons. However, I realised having done it, that there are various chemical substances used and it's quite a complex process to make the vat 🪣 I was happy to leave this to someone else but did enjoy using different folding and stitching techniques and loved seeing the results revealed.
