Went for this little mattinee jacket, in 4 ply wool, might be a bit cooler morning and evening and they do have a lot of aircon. After a bit of research and advice from my daughters australian friend the next item may be in cotton, 4ply cotton now on order. This is a really lovely classical pattern, clear easy to follow instructions and as in 4ply not too thick. Used stitch markers for raglan shaping and front border. A easy quick knit. Have gone with a little yellow wooden button from my button tin for I hope a contempary look. Initally purchased two balls of yarn, however took exactly one ball, none left over. Have to decide how to use my other ball, I think may just be a bit too hot for bootees.
