The forward and return passes of Tunisian crochet means that you can produce interesting colour effects. If you change colour at the beginning of the forward pass, you get stripes, but if you change colour at the beginning of the return pass, you get this lovely woven effect which is perfect for a gingham pattern. This bag is not spacious or practical, but it is certainly cute!
