My niece purchased this doll from a charity shop. It did not have any clothes on and she gave me the job of kitting it out. Firstly, I bought a baby’s all-in-one. I then set about knitting a dress and this is the result 😀 The pattern is actually for a 12 month old baby and I adjusted it slightly to fit. UPDATE (December 2024) - I have now completed a bonnet to match the dress. See photos on project 👍😀

The dress is lovely. I miss making doll clothes and my great grandchildren are all boys.
Thanks Cheryl. I enjoyed making this small dress as my last few knits have been bigger projects for my grandsons.

Such a sweet outfit - I love these dolls! My granddaughter had one and I think I got just as much fun buying outfits as she did!!
Thanks Valerie. I found it better to use a baby’s knitting pattern to make this, as patterns for dolls were too small. I got there in the end 😀

A perfect baby for your niece’s child. The dolls are so much more lifelike these days. 🥰
