Well done! I love it in the stripes 🥰
Thank you Jane I was wondering how the stripe would work out right up to the finish too 🥰

Looks fabulous Maria. I need to use up some of my stash too. You can’t go past OGE patterns, this is one of my favourites.
Thank you Jennifer I made a bit of a dent in my greens 🥬😂 I have just started another OGE a baby dress the patterns are lovely to follow 🥰💕

Clever you Maria, I knitted this cardigan but did the sleeves flat and seamed them 😂💕💕

Thank you Maria, I didn't realise the sleeves were knitted in the round until I got to them, I hate dpn's, so did them flat 😂💕💕😘
Kind words Elaine, I feel a bit of a newbie as far as in the round, our sock knitters would make light work of it 😂 You adapted pattern with beautiful results, 😍💕

Well done you!! Lovely cardigan and always seems extra special when you have achieved a new skill. I have part knitted this cardigan and it is sitting in my part finished projects because of the sleeves! I must get a handle of knitting in the round, but it just seems you have too many needles! 😍
@Jane M: what a great tip thanks Jane and advice on length 👍 I am knitting a baby dress at the moment using magic loop on circulars that have long cable and didn’t really understand about choosing right length for project. When I had around 250 stitches cable was going round nicely as I knitted but as stitches have dropped significantly a shorter cable would work better. I have been challenging myself to do more round things so that One day I’ll enjoy making more socks 🥰😍💕

You could try magic loop on circulars? For small sleeves you'd probably need 80cm?
Thanks Valerie for your lovely comments 💕 i like to think we have similar knit ideas 💡 I’m an enthusiastic work in progress, sometimes while knitting small things you can come across a knitting skill you might not think you’d entertain on bigger project but why not? Hope you finish yours 3 dpns is only 1 more or be really clever and adapt to 2 you are amazing at that too 😍🥰💕

Maria this is fabulous. 🤩 The three greens works so well together as does the stripe pattern with the top down construction. The ‘seam’ down the sleeve won’t show, and how well the stripes are matched up. A beautiful pattern beautifully made and three challenges met in one hit. You should be very proud of yourself. 🥹 💕💕💕

@Maria L: Yes they’re beautiful I think it would be my favourite too. Maybe I’ll have a reason to make it one day. 🤞💕💕
What lovely comments thank you Helen the stripes were forming as I was knitting I was unsure what they would look like until they happened so I thought I’d better count rows of colour but I started running out of one of the colours so I adjusted uniformity. fortunately as the end was the beginning of traditional knit think it looks like that’s what I intended 😜 my favourite bit was the Norwegian fir trees 🥰😍💕💕
