I’m part of a project called The Longest Yarn Basically we have knit or crocheted 80 panels each 1m x 50 cm, each panel created depicts a scene from 6th June 1944 otherwise known as DDay. We based our scenes on the film THE LONGEST DAY , mine is paratrooper crashes through greenhouse. The project is currently on display at the Notre Dame church in Carentan Normandy.
