I made my other nieces personalised Christmas tree stocking ornaments last year so wanted to make my other niece and nephew ones this year. Did striped design and added name to personalise it. Used free pattern. Crochet single chain for hanging loop

Hi No I used DK stash bits and 3.75mm needles. The heels are the hardest bit and a bit of a pain with short rows and slip sts and fiddling about picking sts up again. Letters are five sts high and 3 wide with 1st gap apart from the N which is 5 wide

Very sweet! I'm currently using a different pattern for small stockings so I might try this one as well? Did you use 4 ply as pattern suggests?
