"I made this for a customer"

I was asked to make this for a ladies grandson who is one this year and she wanted his name and date of birth on the shirt. I managed to incorporate his name while knitting his top, after pulling it out goodness knows how many times one of which I’d managed to get his name back to front, don’t ask me how. I had to embroider the date of birth and I’m not very good at that but it’s done and she’s happy with it which is the main thing

He’s a very smart Elephant in his football strip. Well done for persevering with his name. I always have trouble with embroidery on toys and usually find an alternative method. Difficult to see what else you could have done for the date though but it’s turned out fine Dianne. Well done. 👏🏻

Thank you 😊 Swiss embroidering is something that I’ve never tried but after this one I think I’ll have to have a look into it and give it a go

@Dianne A: I'm sure you didn't fail at all, us lefties can be tricky. Some can transpose to a right handed way like your granddaughter, my son is also left handed but plays tennis and other sports right handed. I'm hopelessly left brained too, I just can't convert (🤣 well that's my excuse anyway)

Thank you 😊 I tried to show my granddaughter how to knit and she’s left handed and I failed miserably however she has now managed but does it right handed bless her
