Walk in the Park Blanket

Blanket made up of relatively simple squares - the secret to the design is the positioning / orientation of the squares.

Pattern includes full written instructions and clear step-by-step photos.

There are 2 options for the border: the wide border shown on the original multicoloured blanket; and a simplified border as illustrated on the smaller monochrome baby blanket. Each border can be used on either size blanket.

Materials used

Monochrome Lap / Baby Blanket Paintbox Simply DK (100% acrylic; 280m / 100g): 2 balls each in Granite Grey 106 and Paper White 100; 1 ball each in Stormy Grey 104 and Slate Grey 105.

Original Multicoloured Throw Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK (100% acrylic; 280m / 100g): 5 balls in Azure 0824; 4 balls in Cream 0812; 1 ball each in Cupid 0944, Burnt Orange 0647, Salmon 0644, Royal 0979, Denim 0994 and Spearmint 0727.
