Rustic Finish Hat

I wanted a hat to showcase the yarn in an elegant fashion, and had an eye for the feature of the crown decreases. This pattern has a folded-under brim for extra warmth on the ears and a stockinette stitch fabric to showcase a beautiful tweed or slub yarn. The hat works just as well with a DK weight yarn held single or a fingering + mohair held together. Either way, you will have a simple, understated hat with a lovely, refined finish.

Size 1 sample is knit with Chelsea Luxe Cobblestone ‘Co Pilot’ held with Chelsea Luxe Mohair ‘Co Pilot’ (green hat). Size 2 sample is knit with Woolberry Berry Tweed ‘Toffee Chip’ held with Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair ‘Ocher Brown’ (brown hat). Size 3 sample is knit with Dragon Hoard Yarn Gnome Tweed DK ‘Obsidian Salt’ (grey hat).
