Olivia skirt

Olivia is a knee-length /midi fitted lace skirt worked in DK weight yarn, which makes it very accessible for advanced beginners as it crochets up easily AND quickly! It was inspired by the beautifully glamorous creations of Russian and Brazilian crocheters.

I wanted to create something that could be worn every day, made rather quickly and easily but still look light, delicate and sophisticated.

It features 4 different but easy lace patterns, including a classic leaf motif, worked across the thighs. This pattern would be a great first garment or first lace/charted project!

I’ve included line-by-line instructions along with very complete charts and instructions to lengthen/shorten the skirt or give it more flare! You can make it in any DK yarn of your choice or use 2 strands of a lighter yarn (lace/light fingering), as long as it fits and you like the look, it’s all good!
