Josie - Baby’s 4ply lace shrug

This 4ply baby’s shrug has 2x2 rib cuffs then is worked in a lovely lace stitch. As there is no shaping required when working the lace stitch, this shrug is easier to knit than it may look, and is a perfect project for gaining confidence for knitting lace stitches. Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-9) months.

To fit chest: 35 (40-45-47) cm [13¾ (15¾-17¾-18½) ins].

Length (from cast on to cast off edge): 45 (50-55-60) cm [17¾ (19½-21½-23½) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1) ball Lincraft Babysoft 4ply, 100g balls@400m.

Needles required: A pair of 3.25mm [UK 10, US 4] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 28 sts and 40 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 3.25mm needles.
