Coral Reef Slouch Hat

This beautiful lightweight hat is perfect for spring and cool summer days. The body pattern features a lace design that reminds me of coral reefs. For this pattern you will need 1 strand of worsted weight yarn (First photo shown uses Three Irish Girls Wexford Merino Silk color Eavan, original sample uses red heart super saver in color jade) and a 48 peg round loom with 5/8" gauge (knifty knitter or cindwood) However, this pattern can be adapted to work with any loom with multiples of 4 pegs and appropriate yarn to suit your preferences.

This hat fits most children to adults with head circumference between 21" and 23". It fits both me and my 9 year old step-daughter.

This pattern is best suited for the intermediate loom knitter, although step by step instructions are provided for rows that include k2togs, ssks, and yos.
