It is very difficult to ascertain the gauge, which is given with the note "slightly stretched". I knit a swatch and "slightly stretched" it, it was too big, so I moved down half a needle size and started the sweater. I'm three balls in and the dimensions are way too SMALL. I will have to start over again and either move a full needle size up or knit a larger size. It's a guessing game.
