Brioche Ponchology

The Poncho is knit top-down from an i-cord in one- and two-color brioche. Increases along the sides shape the poncho. The fun really starts once you get to the chevrons! The ponchos lower edge is also surrounded by an i-cord.

Yarn: 4 colors of Worsted weight yarn

Sizes: Smaller (Larger)

Yardage: 211 (211) m / 231 (231) yards of Color A, 396 (657) m / 433 (718) yards of Color B, 213 (421) m / 233 (461) yards of Color C, 197 (241) m / 215 (264) yards of Color D – Colors A, C & D are light or foreground colors, Color B is a dark or background color

Gauge: 16 sts/18 rows=10cm/4” in brioche stitch (after blocking)

Der Poncho beginnt und endet mit einem i-cord, für einen sauberen Abschluss. Es wird von oben nach unten in Runden gearbeitet, in ein- und zweifärbigem Vollpatent. Durch Zunahmen entlang der Schultern und Arme ergibt sich dir Form. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i ist aber das Zickzack-Muster am unteren Ende.
