This cowl was inspired by my love of blankets. In my opinion there is absolutely nothing better than snuggling up all toasty and warm beneath a gorgeous hand knitted blanket. I designed and published the 'Bits And Bobs' blanket in 2017 specifically with this in mind.
It is fair to say that over the last few years I have become a little addicted to that super squishy blanket of goodness. But there is a problem, because sometimes I have to get up from the sofa ! So, a solution was in order and this cowl is it !
The 'Bits And Bobs Cowl' looks and feels like brioche but without any of the challenges associated with this technique. It is knitted in the round and the fabric is created using a tremendously addictive stitch pattern.
The cowl is knitted using 2 strands of fingering weight yarn held together, so the colour possibilites are endless !
The pattern includes video tutorials for specific techniques, as well as lots of hints and tips.
