I made a couple of mods, made a turtle neck rather than the original roll neck, shortened the length and left the rib unsealed. I had to redo the neck, originally knitted with both yarns but it was far too itchy so I redid it in Lima alone. I’m pleased with this, it was an easy knit that grew quickly and it looks just like the pattern photos. My yarn choices were considerably cheaper than the recommended Rowan yarns.

It looks lovely Karen, I would like to try something like it but am not very experienced in doing cables, is it a complicated pattern?

Thank you for the encouragement, I may give one a try as it seems quite a versatile knit 😊

Not really, the pattern is charted so you can see exactly what you should be doing on each row. There are simpler patterns, ie those that don’t require cabling on every knit row but as there are only 2 designs, quite straightforward.
