My mother has a stay at home sweater that she loves, that is made out a chenille yarn 💚. And every time she wears it, i tell her how nice she is to hug. And so it quickly also became my favorite sweater of her's. Only the sweater is getting a bit old, and she looked high and low but the sweater is no longer sold anymore....🫤🤔 So i offered to try and recreate it for her. And so she got it as a gift for her birthday, beginning this year. We looked for the right yarn together, and i started calculating and then knitting. It was the 1st time i recreated something so one on one, and it was made extra difficult because the yarns were a different size. But in de and i did a oke job. The under arms/arm pit area is not so good sadly but the rest is pretty much the same. It was also my first time knitting with open sts. because the yarn otherwise felt very knotted. But now its vet soft, and she most important of al likes is and is very hug-able! 🤗
