I bought the pattern when my son and daughter in law moved into their new house between the 2 covid lockdowns but it kept getting pushed down the list as new grandchildren arrived! I finally gave it to them this Christmas lol! It does look fairly simple if you've done multiple colours before, but to avoid carrying too many strands across the back I tried to keep each colour section as separate strands and just twisted them as I swapped colours. Omg, the tangle some rows created was like a pot of noodles!! The last thing you need when making something that stretches like a cushion cover is to get uneven strand lengths at the back so it had to be done. I sewed the flowers, door knob, letterbox and plants in the window on at the end. The buttons at the back have crocheted loops instead of buttonholes. Mostly Aran, but some of the smaller sections of colour, like the vases, were 2 strands of DK.

Thanks. My daughter-in-law said it's going upstairs, away from the dog hahaha!

I love what you've done with the flowers at the back! I can sympathise with the yarn tangle..... I've been there quite a few times with intarsia ends! 😬
Thanks! Yeah, it takes patience to work through doesn't it? lol!!
