Thanks Helen. I enjoyed making him, if it wasn't for the time the prickles take I'd make it again, they're not difficult, just very time consuming .Our neighbours cats and the hedgehogs just ignore each other now. The cats went to sniff at them and when they encounter the prickles they learn to stay away. Hopefully you'll get some in your garden one day.🥰

Thanks Julie, George thinks he is cute too. It's fun watching them. We have a large, clear upturned plastic crate where George puts a dish of dried cat food in for them. You can see when they go in for a feed, so if one is inside and another turns up they puff themselves up and make their spikes stand on end, so they look huge. Sometimes there is a wee scuffle before one gives up. The crate is needed as otherwise the neighbours cats eat the food😂😂, so the entrance is just big enough for the hedgehogs, although there is one cat, Eva who manages to slink in sometimes - it's hilarious to watch her.

Thanks Linzi, yes, it's fun watching what they get up to. They don't particularly like being together, so sometimes you see them doing what's called a "ram and roll" as one rolls up into a ball and the other shoves them about to try and dissuade them from being there. 🥰
