Originally made this in a rustic grey yarn which looked great but scratched my skin at the neck so re-made with a soft alpaca yarn for the body and a contrast colour border. This has made a smaller but very comfortable shawlette, you could make the pattern to other gauges

It’ll be super soft and cosy in the alpaca Christine. 🤗🥰 I love a shawlette and have ended up with ones that scratched my neck too. So disappointing after all that knitting. Currently making one in Yarnsmiths Lagoon which is knitting up beautifully and seems very soft so I have high hopes of this one.
