Spectator is a boxy, top-down, in-the-round raglan cropped jumper with long sleeves designed by independent designer Francesca Hughes. This advanced-level knitting project features a contemporary sportswear aesthetic created through bold colour blocking and clever textural details. The jumper is designed to be worn with positive ease on the bust and fitted sleeves, making it suitable for layering and everyday wear from creative activities like knitting to more active pursuits like ice-skating.

Construction and Design Features

The Spectator employs a top-down raglan construction method, which allows for seamless knitting in the round and provides excellent fit customization. The cropped length and boxy silhouette create a modern, relaxed fit that works well as a layering piece. The garment is available in seven sizes, ranging from a finished bust measurement of 87 cm (34 inches) to 146.5 cm (57½ inches), with sizing designed to accommodate 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) of positive ease on the bust.
