Namtso

Sometimes a very special fiber calls for a design that celebrates its origins. A velvety soft, heathered yarn spun from the combings of yaks that live on the Tibetan plateau was the inspiration for 'Namtso,' meaning a Tibetan holy lake.

Namtso is worked flat from the top down, starting with a garter tab. Stitches are increased along the edges and along the center to create a shallow triangular shawl.
