Dorian Slouch Hat

Dorian is a musical mode based on the natural diatonic scale from the notes D to D. The D Dorian scale has all the same notes as the C Major scale, but starting and ending on the D. For example: D E F G A B C D. To play other Dorian scales you would use the pattern: Whole Step - Half Step - Whole Step - Whole Step - Whole Step - Half Step - Whole Step This mode was named for the Dorian Greeks.

Dorian is another Fiddle Knits design inspired by the menfolk. A simple textural design is paired with a rugged yarn for detail subtle enough for a guy, but interesting enough to knit. Once you establish the diagonal lines you won’t need to reference the pattern until the crown decreases.
