Dare To Be Seen

Simple repeat of double crochet rows and shell rows build the bigger part of the shawl, changing to shorter intervals of shells in the lower part of the shawl to transition into a striking textured 3-dimensional border. Double crochet in the back loops only, worked after the shells give additional texture to the fabric. The ratio of increases in the border section extends the edges, giving the top of the shawl a little crescent curve. Biggest part of the work is aimed to be easy and relaxing and finish with a little twist and unusual placement of the stitches, still using basic stitches only.
