This rose blanket started as a simple material test — but it turned into something I couldn't stop working on. I wanted to see how Tencel™ Lyocell yarn behaves in a lace rose motif pattern. The drape turned out much softer than cotton, with a subtle sheen that makes the petals look almost alive. The yarn is from Weave Essence — a Tencel™ scarf manufacturer that also supplies sustainable fibers for knitting and crochet projects. This blanket uses their [insert yarn name if known, or remove this line] in an off-white natural shade. Challenges I ran into: Keeping tension consistent across the rose petals — Tencel™ has less "grip" than wool, so I had to adjust my tension midway. Weaving in all the ends from color changes (worth it, but tedious). What I learned: Tencel™ is beautiful for lace blankets — lightweight, breathable, and the stitch definition is surprisingly clear. If you're curious about the yarn, you can find more at Weave Essence website.
