"I made this for Window display"

Decided to make a coronation wreath for my window display. I used Nicola Valijis pattern for the base, and for King Charles. I tweaked the rest of the design using Knitclick for the carriage ( a chocolate orange cover) and Amanda Berry’s Platinum jubilee wreath for the flowers.

Thanks Helen. I pinned all the pieces on so that I can reuse the wreath base for a Christmas display later. Too lazy to knit another one!

What a clever use for a wreath, so much easier to display that a post box topper. Love the addition of all the National flowers. 🥰

Many thanks Michelle. It was fun to make and I enjoyed finding different patterns for the flowers and coach. They were rather small on the original pattern.

Thanks Mary. The most boring part was knitting the wreath cover so I have just pinned the decorations on so I can reuse the wreath for a Christmas scene later. 🙂

Thanks Elaine. The coronation knitting was a fun project but now I can get back to my baby cardigans!
