4 inches tall with hood up. Made to go into children's blessing bags. Hood knitted flat and sewn around the neck. Hood Method using 2mm needles and 4 ply yarn. Cast on using 26 chain stitches with crochet hook. This gives a very nice finish to the front edge around the face. Check chain edge fits over the head add or remove stitches to fit. Then pick up and knit the bars at the back on the chain stitches (26 stitches on your needle. Purl two rows then stocking stitch a further 20 rows. Either cast off and join down the centre of the cast off edge or knit to centre stitch (leaving long end of yarn) and use crochet hook to pass through two stitches (one from each needle and chain cast off with long end of yarn. Could become a bit of an obsession knitting these small dolls.
