@Margot: There is always another day, well at least that's what my mum used to say 😁

@Christine R: thank you so much, I’ve only just seen your reply! Too busy still trying to put together the kitten!!
Finger crossed Margot. It does take a while to get these kittens right. Its all about stitches to pull in the eyes in three directions. Up to the ears, down to the mouth and corner to corner across the bridge of the nose to create some contours. Also some duplicate stitches to raise areas to plump the whiskers areas and the chin. I also leave a little opening in the jaw area so you keep adding small puffs of stuffing to add more shape. You'll find as you do some stitches it creates gaps in the stuffing so it helps to add more especially behind the eyes. x

This little kitty is sure to be a hit Christine. He has lovely bright eyes. I’m making penguins and have to agree about the black and white! 🥰

@Christine R: Thank you Christine. Just one more to do, for me! So of course it may not get done until next year! 😂
Thank you Helen good luck with the penguin 😁

What a pretty kitty Christine! She has the dearest expression, you create such life like features. 💖 I'm no stranger to the knitting fails rubbish bin 😆 all part of the process!
Thank you Mary. Yes it takes courage to drop it in the bin when you have spent all those hours making it but then not quite as much as if it's for yourself and I've had a few of those in the past. Often ended up in the dog or cat bed! 😁

So Lovely, I’m wondering whether mine ought to go in the bin also! I can’t get past the head and muzzle sewing together. Yours has given me inspiration to carry on.
