What better way to use up lots of cotton scraps than to work it all into one beautiful shoulder bag you can use all summer long? That's what I decided to do with these cotton remnants, all from my stash. I organized my cotton by color (shades of blue and green) and weight and got busy making this shoulder bag. I worked using two strands held together, and when one strand ran out, I simply tied on another. So much fun to work with my stash and to see the colors blend and take shape into something unique. I added a little button loop when I began round 50. I worked 20 chains between sts 31 and 32 and then in the next round I slip stitched into each of the chains. I attached a small button to the center front. I'm so happy with this bag. It makes a great summer project!
