I have only recently discovered crocheting. I wanted to do something easy for the first time. I saw online these circles which were a departure from your normal granny squares. I used a variegated wool from the Lionbrand Mandala Ombre range "Felicity" with pretty pink hues against a white background which really make them pop. I didn't want an overwhelming edge to the blanket so I did a super simple bobble edging that I found online also. A modern twist for a precious baby girl. The base pattern I used was found on the Lion Brand website called Modern Baby Dotty Dots Afghan.
