Zivatar’s gradient bands of lace and texture suggest an afternoon thunderstorm. As the sky darkens there’s a sense of gathering gloom and pressure, until – bam! – the darkness is pierced by dramatic flashes of light and noise. And then it clears, and all is sparkly light…

This was designed using a 120g set of seven mini-skeins – 6 shades of grey plus a rainbow skein – but can be easily adapted to other colour combinations. You’ll need around 17g/70m of yarn for the special rainbow contrast band.
