Zebra Rattle or Teething Toy

Isn’t this little rattle adorable? And it is so easy to make too!

This pattern is easy, and is written in American terms.

Materials  Worsted weight yarn in black and white  4mm hook  Yarn needle  Fibrefill or yarn scraps to stuff  Optional: 5 cm/2 inch wooden teething ring (instructions included for adjusting pattern to fit larger teething ring as well)  Optional: Rattle insert or jingle bell – any size between 20 and 25mm will work.

Abbreviations  Ch = Chain  Hk = Hook  Invscdec = Invisible single crochet decrease  Sc = Single crochet  Sl st = Slip stitch  St(s) = Stitch(es)

Finished Measurements  Head: 3.5 inches front to back, 2.5 inch tall  Ears: 1.25 inch tall  Circumference of soft ring: 3.5 inches
