Willow River Cowl

Nature in all its beauty and glory gives us great life lessons and trees have forever been a source of a lot of wisdom. This cowl has been inspired by Bruce Lee’s quote that inspires us to ride with the tide and go with the flow.

“Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind.” With an intriguing braid-like design reminiscent of willow branches, the Willow River Cowl is warm and cozy. Paired with a jeans jacket, this cowl will keep out the chill on a late evening walk along the river.

The cowl is worked flat in one piece beginning with an I-cord Cast-On and fastened with buttons. The cable pattern is both written and charted.
