White Sandy Beach socks

I grew up in a small ranch town on the Big Island of Hawaii. The nearest movie theater was an hour away whereas some of the nicest beaches on the planet were half that. So, you can probably guess where I chose to spend my time.

White Sandy Beach is a sock pattern written for knitting toe-up socks 2-at-a-time using magic loop. This method is much easier than it seems. It creates two perfectly matching socks with very little effort and eliminates “second sock syndrome” altogether. All the instructions, unless noted, are written for one sock and you should repeat them for the second sock. This means that to complete one round you follow the instructions for needle 1 on sock 1 and then repeat the instructions for needle 1 on sock 2 before moving on to needle 2 instructions for sock 2 and then needle 2 instructions for sock 1. Needle 1 means the top of the foot or front of the leg and needle 2 is the bottom of foot or back of the leg. If you are using 4 double pointed needles (DPNs)
