Union Jack Square / Coasters

Perfect to add to a multi square afghan or you could use the pattern to create a lovely blanket or cushion. You could also make up the pattern in cotton and use as a coaster.

Pattern rated intermediate

20g of dark red double knit yarn (8 ply) 10g cream or white double knit yarn (8 ply) 10g of medium blue double knit yarn (8ply)

Pattern will work in other yarns though gauge will be different.

Crochet hook: 5mm (US size H)

GAUGE: 1 inch (2.5cm) = 4 tr/dc stitches. Each square measures 5.9 inches x 5.9 inches (14.8cm x 14.8cm)
