INSTRUCTIONS
The Basic Hat is knitted in a Slip Stitch pattern with ribbed earflaps.
The other version features added pom-poms with i-cords on top, a longer back, and deeper ribbing on both sides.
The hats are worked from the top down in the round. Then, the Wrap & Turn short row technique is used to shape the earflaps and the back.

Materials
Yarn: Marled worsted yarn (9 wpi), approx. 90 (100) 110 (130) 140 m for the Basic Hat, plus approx. 25 m for the Pompoms version.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 22 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on larger needles
