Product Description
This pattern is also available as part of my new e-book [Primavera][1]: an Eco-friendly e-book with 5 original shawl designs.
Tulipa it’s a shallow crescent shaped shawl knitted top-down with a lace pattern resembling little tulips emerging from a garter stitch background, providing a nice texture to this feminine and delicate wrap. The pattern is easily adjustable by working more or less pattern repeats. Two options are provided for the BO – a picot BO and an elastic BO. I recommend to knit the first and the last st loosely and so the increases (made by M1R and M1L) near the edges to avoid ending with a very tight CO edge.
