This is an advanced intermediate level pattern written in US crochet terms.

You'll need DK weight yarn in 3 colors (although sport work work, too!). The following are average yardage estimates based on the tester experience:

1. Color 1 (solid/tonal): 191 yards (175 m) - 1 skein
2. Color 2 (solid/tonal): 224 yards (205 m) -- 1 skein
3. Color 3 (variegate/solid/tonal): 172 yards (157 m) -- 1 skein
