There were 2 baby bonnet patterns; one was ok and i knitted one in white 4 ply and one in pink 4 ply. The other pattern had a pretty border which was supposed to be folded back over crown but i didn't like the way the turn -back lay and made the edge crinkly and didn't lay properly, so i undid it and knitted the border and continued in stocking stitch all on the right side for the crown and this was much better
