Top 'N' Tail Baby Blanket

This sweet little baby blanket is made from traditional granny stripes with windowpane granny squares attached at each end. A simple border provides the delicate edging. The granny stitch is simple and versatile. You could use a single colour to create a blanket with a soft texture, but for maximum impact and visual interest this pattern uses a combination of three colours. This also allows you to carry each of the three yarns up the side of your blanket after each row, thus avoiding numerous ends to weave in.
