Tolosa Headband -- a loom knit pattern

The Tolosa Headband is a quick and easy project! The headband incorporates an i-cord edging on both sides for a crisp finished look, and the stitch pattern is easy to follow and creates a beautifully subtle textured fabric. The Tolosa looks great on either a man or woman.

The Tolosa Headband is created on any 1/2" gauge loom but if you want to try my Zigzag Rake Bind Off, you must use Flexee Loom Links Regular loom. The alternate Zigzag Rake Bind off is a method of joining the cast on edge with the ending row in the bind off. It eliminates all sewing. The pattern gives a picture tutorial of this method. The pattern does include the Basic Bind Off instructions for those who prefer.

This project requires approximately 75-100 yards of a worsted weight [4] yarn. Yarn Bee’s Yard ID yarn in the Iron colorway was used in the sample.

The pattern is suitable for a confident novice loom knitter.
