The scarf is knitted flat on single pointed needles, in garter stitch throughout and uses easy increases (by knitting in the front and back of the stitch) and decreases (by knitting two stitches together). I have marked the pattern as suitable for a beginning but it would be more suited to an advanced beginner because the tinsel yarn can be a bit tricky to knit with.
