Thwaite

These stunning mittens are inspired by both Nordic and Shetland traditional style mittens and feature a dramatic 8-pointed flower motif and a deep decorative cuff. The mittens are knitted in the round using stranded colour work technique throughout. The main hand is knitted in two strongly contrasting shades and the cuff uses the background shade of the hand along with a third, also contrasting shade.

The mittens are knitted in the round from the cuff up. Four sizes are achieved by matching gauge to that for the appropriate size mittens and charted instructions are provided.
