Those Summer Nights Top

This top is very easy to make and grows quickly. It is a stitch which was popular in the 80's/90's. It is extremely easy to wear being loose fitting and has a flattering drape over the ribbed band. Consider it an alternative to a t shirt on a warm summers day. Although the sleeves drop down, this is more exagerated on the hanger than when wearing, again consider short sleeve t shirt length. The contrasting rib along the bottom adds detail as does the neckline and arm bands. However you can always knit in one colour if you prefer. Being 100% cotton it is the perfect top to add to your favourite summer skirt or jeans. The total length from the shoulder is 54 cm in all 4 sizes.
