enThis shawl features a two unique cable stitches that are combined with a Shetland faggotting stitch. The three stitches make a striking shawl. The shawl is knit using heavy fingering weight yarn. For those of you that enjoy knitting cable lace, I think this cable will intrigue you. The large cable contains clusters (smocking). Most veteran cable knitters will find this particular cable different from most that they have knitted.
The stitches are both charted and written out.
Skill level: Intermediate (assuming a working knowledge of cable and lace knitting).

There are also instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.
