The Rudy Cardigan

The gender neutral Rudy Cardigan is a joy to make. Worked from the top down, it alternates hdc and dc rows. The interesting texture is made by crossing two dc stitches. There is a very helpful little video tutorial on how to do this included in the pattern. After the body is stitched, a sc ribbing is added to the bottom directly onto the cardigan, no extra sewing. Next, the two sleeves are worked right onto the cardigan. For some extra detail, I added two pockets, but they are of course optional!
