This pattern is knit in the round from brim to crown.

Recommended yarn: 328 yards / 100 gr (300 m / 100 gr); total amount of yarn to be used: 50 - 90 gr 220 yards / 100 gr (200 m / 100 gr); total amount of yarn to be used: 50 - 90 gr Materials: Needles US 0, 1⅟₂, 2½, 4 (2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm) DPNs or circular 40" (100 cm) or longer. Cable needle or cable stitch holder. Crochet hook 2 mm for Italian cast on. Scrap yarn; stitch markers. Tapestry needle. Gauge: 26 sts x 32 rows = 2.5 sq inches (10 cm x 10 cm) on US 2½ (3 mm) needles and 328 yards / 100 gr (300 m / 100 gr) yarn. 22 sts x 30 rows = 2.5 sq inches (10 cm x 10 cm) on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles and 220 yards / 100 gr (200 m / 100 gr) yarn.
